St John, St Croix, St Thomas and Water Island make up the United States Virgin Islands (USVI). Although St Croix is larger than other islands in the chain, it still only comes in at 81km², which is good news if you're up to exploring this lush and exotic landscape. St Thomas offers great shopping and sailing, snorkeling and sightseeing, or diving and dining. Enjoy the island's world-renowned golf course, the picture-perfect beaches and spectacular nightlife. A yachter's paradise, St. Thomas also has one of the busiest ports in the West Indies. As far as its beaches go, they are, in a word, incredible, with the crème de la crème located on the shores of spectacular Magens Bay. Hailed as one of the world's most beautiful, this breathtaking bay along St. Thomas' rugged north coast is ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

Dining on St. Thomas is considered the most ambitious in the West Indies.
